Part of a Michael Baker International project team, Vernon Land Use was retained to develop a coordinated and collaborative marketing and promotion strategy for 27 municipalities in Eastern Washington County, Pennsylvania. The Mon Valley is south of Pittsburgh and has been impacted by decades of disinvestment resulting from steel industry decline. Tasks included coordinating and conducting in person and online interviews with municipal, county, regional, and state officials; developing content for an online investment portal; and developing strategies and implementation actions.
